Baggage at Tulum Airport
Carry-on and checked baggage on flights from Tulum, and what to do if your bag is lost or damaged.
Size, weight and number of pieces included depend on the airline and the fare you bought. Check them in your confirmation before arriving at the airport.
Before checking in
- Label your bag inside and out with your name and phone number.
- Keep medicines, documents, money and electronics in your carry-on.
- Spare lithium batteries may not go in checked luggage.
- Weigh your bag at home: excess weight is charged at the counter.
If your bag does not arrive
Report it to your airline before leaving the baggage claim area. Ask for the report number and keep your bag tag and boarding pass. If your bag arrives damaged, report it right away.
For items left in the terminal, see lost and found. For what you can carry in the cabin, see security checkpoint.
